CALEDONIA, Ont. — As of Jan. 1, KRTS Transportation Specialists will be adding another module to its dispatch program curriculum that began as a pilot project in conjunction with the Canadian Trucking Human Resource Council (CTHRC).

KRTS has been offering a comprehensive entry level dispatch program for the past two years. It was created initially when the Truckload Carrier Association launched the Daily Dispatch Challenge to educate existing drivers.

KRTS also offers programs for existing dispatchers delivered at their facility or at a carrier’s location.

"We currently have four major components in the program; in-class, computer based, carrier development and in-truck, which are all important components to the program. The CTHRC Professional Dispatch segment is a welcome addition to the current computer based segment already offered in the program," said Kim Richardson, president of KRTS.

For more information, contact KRTS at 800-771-8171.
