LEAK-DETECTION DYE KIT
Cliplight Manufacturing of Toronto says its new Multi-Purpose Dye Kit is for comprehensive leak detection in automotive a/c systems, engines and transmissions, plus fuel, hydraulic and cooling systems.
The Multi-Purpose Dye Kit (Model 9680) services 25 a/c system applications. Other unique kit tools include Cliplight’s proprietary ‘Revolver’, said to be the industry’s easiest a/c dye applicator for delivering accurate dye increments to prevent over-dyeing; a patent-pending swivel hose with 360-degree connector that allows freedom of movement in tight spots; and the ‘Pocket-Pro’ 4-LED UV dye inspection light that features a 4-hour peak performance and powerful light beam with 3 AA batteries, plus a slim case for reaching tight access areas.
The kit also includes dye for detecting engine/transmission oil and cooling system leaks.
Other accessories in the kit include a purge valve for eliminating air inside the swivel hose, UV-enhancing safety goggles, and an adaptor fitting for R-12 systems.
