Truck-Lite has taken a traditional incandescent work lamp and given it a powerful light output with LED technology. With its robust housing, the company says it “will last the long haul.” The lamp carries a 5-year warranty.

Showing an intense bright, white light through the entire voltage range, the LED work lamp comes to full brightness much sooner than the incandescent versions, Truck-Lite says. The lamp’s intensity and pattern is also said to be superior to that of a conventional incandescent work lamp
in all respects. It’s designed to operate in a 12V environment, but will function at full brightness from 8.5V – 16V, drawing only 1.2 amps compared to the incandescent’s 2.93 amp draw.

This lamp is aimed at general illumination for vehicle maintenance and inspections, but can also extend to numerous other applications, on yard tractors and forklifts, for example.

With a 100,000 hour lamp life, the lamp’s six diodes are encapsulated in epoxy for superior protection against moisture and corrosion. The pedestal-mounted product is made of a polycarbonate lens, powder-coated cast aluminum housing, and stainless-steel mounting hardware to combat
corrosion.
