LIQUID-FILLED ONBOARD SCALE

Right Weigh’s new line of liquid-filled scale gauges measure and display axle weight in pounds-on-the-ground, not pounds-per-square-inch, for easier interpretation and greater accuracy. The gauge can be calibrated to maintain accuracy, and can be flush- or surface-mounted.

These weather-tight gauges contain low-viscosity silicone to prevent corrosion and absorb vibration and pressure spikes. They have an operating temperature range fro -40ºF to 140º, and they’re vented to prevent altitude and temperature from influencing accuracy, which the company says is within 250 lb. Kits are available for single, tandem and tri-axle configurations in 2.5-in. or 4-in. faces.

At this point there are Canadian dealers for the Oregon-made scale in B.C. and Alberta only.
