Low-profile LEDs help to identify hazards

by Today's Trucking

JW Speaker’s low-profile solar LED flasher lights will help crews identify dangerous obstructions in a wide range of settings, and are visible up to 1.6 km.

The self-sustaining solar LEDs charge in six hours and can run up to 120 hours before requiring a recharge. Since the light projects perpendicular to the lamp, it is easier to spot from a distance, the company adds.

Suggested applications include trucks parked at rest stops or in yards, material handling equipment, wagons and heavy machinery in rail yards, and more.

The impact-modified acrylic housing withstands UV light, and each assembly is IP67- and IP69K- rated and can withstand powerful high-pressure washers. The LEDs are also available in amber and red.
