Lynx Fleet links fleets to reefer insights

Carrier Transicold’s Lynx Fleet platform enhances its web-based predecessor, offering a look at refrigerated truck and trailer performance parameters at a glance.

Formerly known as eSolutions, Lynx Fleet applies internet of things analytics, machine learning and big data to connect the cold chain to the cloud, automate processes, and offer real-time visibility and insights.

The dashboard collects inputs as diverse as temperatures in cargo areas to the performance of refrigeration equipment. It then consolidates it into different insights that need attention.

The initial rollout offers details about low fuel levels, low battery voltage, critical alarms that cause a refrigeration unit to shut down, door metrics, and asset run hours.

Related hardware is factory-installed on the Carrier Transicold X4 series and Vector 8000 series trailer and rail refrigeration units.
