Lytx has added diagnostic trouble codes and preventive maintenance features to its fleet tracking service, which collects data using a Lytx drivecam through an electronic control module cable.

Currently available for light-duty fleets, functions for heavy-duty fleets will be available later this year.

The diagnostic trouble code feature offers insights through an online Lytx dashboard and email notifications. As those issues are resolved, they are automatically removed from the overview. The reports can also be downloaded as a sharable .csv file.

With the preventive maintenance feature, fleet managers can manage service activities by due date, configuring odometer-based service intervals, entering details about when and how service was completed, and identifying service by date, vehicle type, and service history. These reports can also be shared as a .csv file.
