Mack Anthem daycab gets new roof fairing
The Mack Anthem day cab is now available with a new roof fairing, which promises to boost fuel efficiency by up to 2% when paired with side shields.
The roof fairing’s taller profile supports better air flow over the trailer, reducing aerodynamic drag, the company says. The trim tab’s height can be adjusted, accounting for chassis height, trailer height, and the gap between the cab and trailer.
Mack Anthem day cabs can even be SmartWay certified when spec’d with roof fairings and side shields, chassis fairing, and an optional aerodynamic bumper. Low-rolling-resistance SmartWay-certified tires would also be needed for the designation.
