LEHIGH VALLEY, PA. — Mack Trucks ranked as the highest in customer satisfaction for dealer service, according to a J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Heavy-Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study.

Mack improved its performance by 36 points over its 2007 ranking, and rated significantly better than the industry average, according to the truck manufacturer. Mack’s results were especially strong in the categories of service initiation, service delivery, and service advisor factors, the company states.

“This is an outstanding compliment to all of Mack’s dealers, and to the organization which supports them,” said Dennis Slagle, Mack president and CEO.

“Mack customers have demanded superior service for 108 years and our reputation reflects how well we have met or exceeded customer expectations. Our leading customer satisfaction ranking is a solid demonstration of the efforts and resources our dealers and the Mack organization have invested over the last several years, to strengthen and enhance our distribution system,” Slagle added.
