Mack to expand Rawhide edition offering

DALLAS, Tex. Mack Trucks Inc. has announced that it is now offering DayCab and 70-Inch Mid-Rise versions of its new Rawhide edition, which the company introduced earlier this year in a 60-Inch Mid-Rise configuration. Company officials anticipate accepting orders for the DayCab and 70-Inch Mid-Rise versions as soon as mid-September.

“The response to the Rawhide edition has been tremendous,” said Tom Davis, Mack highway products marketing manager. “We are committed to growing our highway business, and expanding the available offerings will allow even more customers to include this vehicle in their purchasing plans.”

The Rawhide edition is a premium version of the Mack CH model aimed at local and regional haulers looking to turn heads while increasing profits. This rugged, good-looking new workhorse builds on the Mack reputation for durability and reliability.

The Rawhide edition features the new Mack Advantage highway chassis, which offers an array of customer benefits, including a wide range of application-specific frame rail options, up to 50-degree wheel cuts, and exceptional ride and handling.

And it clearly stands apart from the crowd, with nearly every exterior component in chrome or stainless steel.
Inside, the vehicle’s ergonomic styling, full array of gauges and exceptional soundproofing combine to create an environment that truly spoils drivers. A wood grain dash, and a wood grain and chrome steering wheel along with a classic “button-tuck” interior enhance the blend of style and comfort.
