MANAGE LUBES, PM

Shell Canada has launched Shell Fleet Management — a portfolio of driveline lubricants and preventive-maintenance services — including Shell LubeVideoCheck digital inspection.

Said to be the only service of its kind in Canada, Shell LubeVideoCheck helps avoid unnecessary engine teardowns by putting a videoscope inside the engine to instantly see and diagnose what’s going inside.

The service, which takes about an hour, is claimed to help decrease maintenance costs, reduce contamination and assembly risks, increase efficiencies in maintenance scheduling, and extend the life of the equipment.

Shell Canada has a special promotion for a free Shell LubeVideoCheck digital inspection (retail value is about $700) but it’s only for Canadian fleets that consume a minimum of 75,000 liters of lubricants per year.
