Markel hosts management seminars

MONTREAL, Que. — Markel Professional Transport Training is hosting three days of seminars in Montreal Feb. 24 to 26 at the Hotel Gouverneur Ile Charron.

Guest speakers include Judith Hinds, Safety Program Manager, FMCSA Vermont Office and Maurice Dionne, Special Agent Safety Investigator, FMCSA Maine Office.

Topics to be discussed include US Hours of Service, US HAZMAT regulations, US Drug and Alcohol Testing, and a US FMCSA Compliance Review. All seminars are simultaneously in French and English.

Tuesday Feb. 24 will include a Complying with the US Hours of Service Regulation session from 9 a.m. 12 p.m. and an Overview of U.S. Hazmat Regulations session from 1:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m., Wednesday Feb. 25 will have a Complying with the US Hours of Service Regulation session from 9 a.m. 12 p.m. and Understanding FMCSA Regulation Part 382 and Part 40 US Drug & Alcohol Testing from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Thursday Feb.26 will have an all day session on Surviving a US FMCSA Compliance Review from 9 a.m. 4 p.m.
