Maxim continues to grow in the west (October 01, 2001)

SASKATOON, Sask. — Maxim Transportation is continuing to grow, most recently expanding their Saskatoon operation while tripling the staff size, as well.

The company recently moved into new digs at 3250 Idylwyld Dr. North, which is at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and Hwy.s 11/12.

Maxim, primarily a western Canadian distributor, supplies trailers to Yanke, Kindersley, Ridsdale and Kocsis, among others. They have had a Saskatoon operation in place over the past three years, but with the recent expansion they now offer more services from the facility.

Among the services now offered at Maxim’s Saskatoon shop are full truck and trailer repair and maintenance service, rental and leasing services of highway tractors and trailers, Great Dane, Arne’s, Castleton and Timpte Trailer Sales, used truck and trailer sales of all brands and parts for all makes of trucks and trailers.

Fifteen employees now work from the Saskatoon location, up from the five that originally manned the operation.

“Every one of these experts at Maxim come here with lengthy experience in the industry, which will bring a new standard to the local industry of integrated transportation solutions,” says Darrel Argan of Maxim. “Whatever your need is in transportation, the experienced, comprehensive staff of Maxim can offer a product, service or solution.”
