McLaren Doors introduces tough bottom panel for roll-up truck doors

McLaren Doors has introduced a new bottom panel for the Insul-Lite 2.125-inch insulated roll-up truck door, protecting against damage from pallet jacks and forklifts.

The 1/8-inch-thick completely extruded aluminum panel is shrouded in an exterior PVC fascia.

The Insul-Lite door combines the benefits of McLaren Doors’ Streamline Series with a standard truck door hinge, making it possible to drop the door into tracks made by competitors. The external hinge allows for faster roller maintenance and panel replacements, too.

Aluminum reinforcements support the hinges and protect against door sage, and the lightweight materials mean the door is 25% lighter than a standard reefer door.

The panels are also engineered to keep dirt and debris from falling through the cracks when the door is used, feature an eco-friendly polyurethane foam, and have rubber-sealed panel ends to help keep out water.
