McLaren Doors panel adds rigidity, protects against water intrusion

by Today's Trucking

McLaren Doors has launched a reinforced intermediate panel for the Streamline 2-inch insulated roll-up truck door.

The reinforced panel features an extruded 1/8-inch thick aluminum panel with exterior PVC fascia, providing additional reinforcement and rigidity of the door.

The Streamline 2-inch roll-up door is patented with no external hinge panels and aluminum reinforcements for a clean design, the company says. The reinforcements support built-in hinges while protecting against door sag and increasing rigidity.

It is about 25% lighter than the standard reefer door, McLaren Doors says. The panels are designed to prevent water penetration and debris from falling through the cracks. All panel ands are rubber-sealed to help prevent water absorption which can increase door weight and thermal efficiency.
