GREENVILLE, S.C. — Michelin North America will increase its prices by 3 to 8 per cent, depending on sizes, on its line of commercial truck and earthmover tires.

The increase applies to both original equipment and replacement tires sold in the North American market. The increase will be effective July 1, 2004 for earthmover tires and August 1, 2004 for commercial tires.

This announcement follows the announcement on April 23, 2004 that Michelin will increase its prices by an average of 3 per cent on passenger and light truck tires sold in the U.S. replacement market, effective July 5, 2004.
