MONROVIA, Ca. — Michelin and China Manufacturers Alliance LLC, makers of Double Coin and Dyna Trac tires, have settled a patent infringement case.

Michelin had accused the Chinese tire manufacturer of multiple intellectual property infringements. Michelin has since dropped its legal actions for patent infringement. In turn, Shanghai Tire and Rubber and its related companies have agreed to change tread patterns on relevant Double Coin and Dyna Trac brand tires, Double Coin said in a release.

The company and its affiliates have also removed all versions of Michelin-copyrighted content from their Web sites. Details of the financial settlement were not disclosed.
