BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Midas International, Inc., and Big O Tires are the first to sign up to use Comdata’s Fleet Team, an online maintenance tracking system for customers.
Fleet Team captures key maintenance information as services and products are purchased. It is a data-rich logging system available at no additional cost to Midas and Big O customer fleet managers, offering significant customer management and cost-saving benefits. For merchants, Fleet Team easily and profitably strengthens customer relationships, builds incremental business, and attracts new customers.

Additionally, the program streamlines operations by reducing data entry and strengthens cash flow by relieving merchants of the burden of receivables management. Fleet managers can view management reports and, if they choose, drill down to individual line items. In addition to providing key maintenance history (including both cost and timing), Fleet Team can generate service milestone reminders and other key maintenance automation.
“We feel that Fleet Team enhances the value of our offering. It provides our customers with additional tools to enable them to manage their fleets more effectively,” Art Herman, National Account Sales Manager, Big O Tires, said. “There are features and benefits we can offer our customers with Fleet Team that they can’t get elsewhere.”

Midas says that through Fleet Team, it is the most complete package, Scott Kennen, Director of Fleet Services, Midas, added.

“It offers the most functionality while giving us the ability to customize a program specifically for Midas and its customers,” he said.

Pat Madigan, Comdata’s Director of National Sales, Merchant Services, was part of the team that developed Fleet Team.

“It gives a lot of intelligence tools to both merchants and fleet managers that have not been available before, but are invaluable in helping serve their businesses better. We strongly believe Fleet Team establishes a new standard. This is how merchants and fleets will do business together going forward.”
