Mitchell 1 has introduced new features to its Manager SE Truck Edition shop management software, including FinditParts eCommerce integration and the Job View feature set, aimed at improving efficiency for medium- and heavy-duty repair shops.

“Our all-in-one solution for all makes of Class 4-8 vehicles dramatically simplifies repair processes and shop management tasks. It replaces manual tasks with automation and web-based information tools so shops can track business performance and connect with customers – all from one place – and get trucks back on the road faster,” said Kristy Coffman, director of Mitchell 1’s commercial vehicle group, in a release.

Manager SE Truck Edition, designed specifically for Class 4-8 vehicle repair shops, works seamlessly with Mitchell 1’s TruckSeries repair and diagnostic software, the company said, adding that the new FinditParts integration allows shops to access a comprehensive online heavy-duty parts catalog directly within the management system, simplifying parts sourcing and ordering. The FinditParts eCommerce platform features advanced search capabilities, cross-referencing, and verified inventory.

The Job View feature helps shops create professional, well-organized estimates and invoices while tracking profit margins for each job, the release reads. Grouping labor, parts, and notes into structured ‘containers’ improves on-screen clarity for both technicians and customers, helping to streamline approvals and manage deferred work, Mitchell 1 says.

“The clearly organized documents improve the customer experience, facilitating transparent communication between the shop and vehicle owners,” said Coffman. “The shop owner can also quickly confirm the profitability of each individual job to ensure they meet performance goals.”
