LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Mitsubishi Fuso has announced it is consolidating its North American operations at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America headquarters in New Jersey.

Sales, marketing, product application and distribution functions will all be located at the Jersey facility, ending a relationship with Sterling Trucks which will be discontinued. The Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America facility will also serve as the wholesale organization for all of the US and Canada.

“Mitsubishi Fuso is focused on further developing the Mitsubishi Fuso brand in North America,” said Kai-Uwe Seidenfuss, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. vice-president of sales and service international. “We will continue to offer a line of well designed, fuel-efficient trucks and back them with strong support and services. We would also like to thank our sister company Daimler Trucks North America for their stewardship of the Mitsubishi Fuso brand.”
