Motive has announced its integration with Ford Pro Data Services, providing fleet managers seamless access to real-time vehicle data from 2020 and newer Ford vehicles via the vehicle’s built-in modem.

Ford Pro, Ford Motor Company’s commercial division, operates more than 4 million connected vehicles globally. This cloud-based integration allows fleet managers to monitor and manage Ford vehicle data from Motive’s Fleet Dashboard without any additional hardware installation.

“Ford vehicles are the workhorses of the U.S. physical economy, used in the toughest jobs,” said Jai Ranganathan, chief product officer at Motive. “With the Ford Pro-Motive integration, some of the largest fleets can easily access the data built into their vehicles using Motive’s highly customizable dashboard, without any hardware installation. This data enables more informed decision-making and improves operations, driving overall efficiency and productivity.”

This integration aligns with Motive’s commitment to supporting the physical economy by improving fleet operations across various industries, the company said in a release.

Through Motive’s centralized fleet management platform, managers can now access key vehicle data, including GPS location, engine hours, fault codes, and fuel insights. The platform’s no-code customizations enable managers to tailor workflows and reporting for a 360-degree view of their fleet’s performance.

The integrated system provides fleet managers with tools for preventive maintenance, vehicle performance trend analysis, customizable inspection forms, and fuel optimization insights — all designed to help address potential issues before they affect operations.
