Mack concrete pumper gets MP8
Mack Trucks says its 13-liter MP8 engine is available in the company’s TerraPro concrete pumper.
The MP8 features three ratings and special performance calibrations unique to the concrete pumping industry. Ratings range from 425 to 505 hp and up to 1760 lb ft of torque.
Mack says pumper customers have been asking for higher horsepower and torque.
Equipped with the Mack Maxitorque ES manual transmission, C150/151 and C202/203 axles, and the MP8 engine, the TerraPro concrete pumper has a completely integrated powertrain, offering what Mack calls “seamless communication among components for improved performance.”
