“We are now in the final stages of vehicle production readiness and look forward to customer deliveries,” said David Michery, CEO and chairman of Mullen Automotive. “We are excited to open up the Tunica assembly plant for tours and vehicle demonstrations.”

The 120,000-sq.-ft. plant sits on more than 100 acres and will produce a range of Classes 1-3 commercial vehicles. The first to roll off the lines will be the Mullen Three, a Class 3 low cab forward EV with an 11,000-lb. GVWR.

“This versatile chassis provides a clean top-of-rail for easy upfitting with bodies up to 14 feet long and over 5,800 pounds of payload,” the company said in a release. “In addition, the design of the LCF chassis will allow an estimated (EPA) range of 130 miles and more cargo volume within a given overall length.”
