Muncie PTO designed for easier installation
Muncie Power Products’ new A20 Series power take-off (PTO) is designed to fit Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. And the biggest changes focus on the installation process.
The A20 Series PTO features a new rotatable flange with 30 unique positions, offering more flexibility when mounting the hydraulic pump. Customers can order PTOs set to specific position codes, or have them shipped loose so arrangements can be set during installation.
The rotating flange can be easily adjusted without damaging the shaft seal, the company adds.
The housing has been designed to offer easier access to mounting bolts, which have also been extended. And the A20 Series PTO can be ordered with one of two tool kits.
The A20 Series has a 415 lb-ft torque rating for intermittent and continuous-duty applications.
