Nauto expands fleet safety offerings
Nauto has unveiled a fresh wave of updates to its AI-powered fleet safety platform, to be rolled out throughout September. The enhancements bring new risk detection features, improved driver alerts, and expanded compliance and hardware solutions for commercial fleets, the company says.
The in-cab device update introduces a more advanced AI model designed to better detect external driving risks, according to the company. Fleets will benefit from predictive intersection violation alerts, improved speed monitoring, and — for the first time — real-time defensive driving detection to help drivers avoid collisions before they happen.

To support regulatory needs, Nauto is launching a suite of FMCSA compliance tools, a news release states. These include the new Nauto ELD mobile app, which offers automated driving status updates, as well as digital Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and simplified International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) reporting.
The company is also adding new hardware options to give fleets a 360-degree view around their vehicles. Solutions include side-view cameras, wireless backup cameras, interior cargo monitoring, intelligent blind spot cameras, and a DVR hub for seamless integration
