WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Navistar has announced it’s introducing a new line of proprietary components for its International trucks.

The MaxxPower line of components will be designed and engineered by and for Navistar as OE and factory-installed parts, the company announced.

“The launch of our new MaxxPower line of components creates a tremendous opportunity to provide the quality and value our customers are looking for,” said Jack Allen, president of Navistar’s North American Truck Group. “Delivering fully-integrated products and solutions designed from the outset for our vehicles will help deliver maximum performance and reliability.”

Navistar says the parts will be backed by the company’s distribution network. The new MaxxPower line will include a wide range of parts, including drivetrain and suspension components and options such as auxiliary power units, the company says. The very first of these parts will be introduced at the Mid-America Trucking Show this week, according to Navistar.

The first parts to be offered under the program will include the MaxxPower front air suspension and the MaxxPower battery-powered no-idle solution, which will both be offered on the International LoneStar and ProStar tractors.
