Nexiq unveils upgrades with eTechnician 2.6

Nexiq Technologies’ PC-based eTechnician 2.6 now offers bi-directional diagnostic support for EPA20 engines and spark-assisted diesel particulate filter systems on Volvo/Mack vehicles – offering the power to program injector codes for EPA07 to current engines.

It includes the ability to program maximum vehicle speeds, too.

The update to eTechnician 2.6 also gives technicians the ability to read vehicle modules including: Transmission, Transmission Shift Console, Lighting Control Unit, Instrument Cluster, Safety Restraint System and Cab Climate Control.

There’s upgraded diagnostic support for Wabco and Bendix braking systems as well.

Bi-directional support has been added to Wabco E8, mBSP, SmartTrac and iABS modules, while diagnostic support has been added for Wabco OnLaneAlert and OnSide ADAS modules. Similarly, diagnostic support has been added for Bendix AutoVue FLC20, BlindSpotter and SafetyDirect Web Portal Processor ADAS modules.
