Nexiq updates eTechnician to support EPA21 Hinos

Nexiq has upgraded eTechnician to support EPA21 Hino trucks.

The update is part of eTechnician 2.8, which enables PC-based bidirectional diagnostic support for Hino.

“Medium- and heavy-duty truck repair operations now have the ability to program injector codes for EPA07 to 21 engines,” said David Shock, Nexiq Technologies product manager. “We’ve also added the ability to program maximum vehicle speed and idle shutdown setting.”

The 2.8 version also provides proprietary transmission and brake support for Hino cabover models, the company says.
