NRCan launches new portal for Green Freight Program
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has launched a new portal to streamline access to its Transportation and Fuels Decarbonization Programs, including the Green Freight Program’s Stream 1.
This portal simplifies the application process and enables applicants to monitor their application status in real-time, NRCan claims.
Introduced in December 2022, Stream 1 offers funding for fleet energy assessments and truck and trailer retrofits.
Eligible applicants can receive grants covering up to 50% of costs, with a maximum of $250,000 per applicant.
