P.S.I. rolls out TireView Live Pre-Check
Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.) has launched TireView Live Pre-Check for mobile devices featuring scan-to-view QR tags to access real-time TPMS tire pressure and temperature data.
QR tags provided for TireView Live gateway sending units are paired with a vehicle through a fleet’s TireView Live account and adhered to the associated vehicle, according to a news release. After pairing with TireView Live Pre-Check, no app or account login is required. Scanning the QR tag gives drivers and inspection personnel real-time tire pressures and temperatures for each tire position, identifying issues that need attention, PSI claims.
Pre-Check can be completed before a vehicle starts a trip or at any point during the scheduled route. Refreshing the device browser updates the information without additional scanning. The system supports multi-vehicle setups by showing the tire status of each unit in separate browsers.
