Pedigree Technologies has introduced PredictiveView, an AI-powered predictive maintenance offering designed to help fleets detect and address vehicle issues before they escalate into costly breakdowns.

PredictiveView analyzes real-time and historical vehicle data to predict maintenance needs and reduce unplanned downtime, said Rocco Marrari, vice-president of transportation sales at Pedigree Technologies, during the annual Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) convention in Phoenix, Ariz.

“Our system can spot unusual patterns or issues from key vehicle components, things like engine, transmission, brakes, battery issues, tire issues, anything of that sort that can lead to a breakdown while your driver is on the road,” he said, adding that PredictiveView also helps with cost savings. “We can reduce unnecessary visits and those repair costs that are tied to that. Again, we do this by optimizing the vehicle performance, fuel efficiency and lowering emissions.”

With ongoing technician shortages, Marrari noted that the tool helps fleets make more efficient use of their workforce by prioritizing critical repairs and optimizing maintenance schedules.
