TORONTO, Ont. — Penske Truck Leasing will be hosting an open house in Toronto Nov. 10-11 to showcase the SmartWay-certified Freightliner Cascadia.

The company plans to detail how the Cascadia’s aerodynamic design combined with the efficiency of the Detroit Diesel DD15 engine can save customers money. The Toronto open house is part of a 16-stop North America-wide tour, but Penske’s Toronto facility is the only Canadian participant.

“We’re very excited to provide our customers with the opportunity to experience this highly fuel vefficient vehicle,” said Jim Molinaro, senior vice-president of sales, Penske Truck Leasing. “We recently announced our participation in the SmartWay Transport Partnership and we’re proud to offer SmartWay-certified vehicles like the Cascadia.”
