DENTON, Tex. — A Canadian dealership took top honors at Peterbilt’s annual dealer meeting, as Peterbilt Trucks Pacific in Surrey, B.C. was named North American Dealer of the Year.

"Peterbilt Trucks Pacific has excelled in 2001 because of the strong, proven business practices they have developed and relied on since joining the Peterbilt dealer network 15 years ago," says Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR vice-president, Nick Panza.

Don and Terry Pasiuk are the owners and dealer principals of the successful shop, and Panza says their success is a result of their emphasis on customer service.

Other award winners named at the meeting were Regional Dealers of the Year: Hunter Peterbilt, Butler, Pen.; Nashville Peterbilt, Antioch, Tenn.; Allstate Peterbilt Sales and Leasing, South St. Paul, Minn.; Rush Peterbilt Truck Center, Tulsa, Okl.; and Truck Parts and Equipment Peterbilt, Sparks, Nev.

The Medium-duty Dealer of the Year award went to Hunter Peterbilt while Peterbilt’s Red Oval Pre-Owned Truck Dealer of the Year was taken by Nashville Peterbilt.

"These awards recognize outstanding overall performance among our dealer network, which is regarded as the strongest and finest in the industry," says Panza.
