Peterbilt has unveiled its new LED pod headlights for the Model 589, designed to enhance visibility, safety, and styling.

The company claims the all-LED design delivers the maximum light output with wide coverage, including 45-degree left and right low beams while consuming 30% less power than traditional halogen headlights.

The headlights feature a lifecycle of over 50,000 hours and individually replaceable modules for easier maintenance, the company says. Improved glare control ensures optimum visibility, while solid aluminum construction manages cooling for reliable operation in extreme conditions. Integrated lens heaters prevent fogging in inclement weather, and the hard-coated lenses provide protection from UV exposure and fine sand, further enhancing longevity.
