LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Peterbilt has partnered with London Machinery to provide customers with one-stop shopping for rear-discharge mixer trucks.

Peterbilt announced the new program at the Mid-America Trucking Show.

The new Peterbilt/London Integrated Mixer Body Program provides customers with expedited order-to-delivery cycles and added convenience through a single invoice system. Customers work directly with their local Peterbilt dealer to order and take delivery of a complete chassis and mixer body unit.

“Construction customers often have a short amount of time to acquire equipment between when a contract is awarded and work is to begin. By providing fast delivery of a ready-to-work mixer truck, this new program helps our customers be more competitive and better meet their deadlines,” said Bruce Ewald, Peterbilt Assistant General Manager. “Additionally, engineers with Peterbilt and London have worked together closely to develop specifications and procedures that optimize body installation. As a result, customers have a complete unit that meets their specifications without compromising its performance or reliability.”

Peterbilt dealerships have software developed specifically for this program to help customers spec a chassis and mixer body that best meets their business and application requirements, Ewald said.

The Peterbilt/London Integrated Mixer Body Program is available for every medium- and heavy-duty Peterbilt truck.
According to Ewald, London has been one of the largest, most respected mixer body manufacturers since it was founded in 1908. London’s unique barrel designs allow for one of the industry’s fastest load and discharge rates, he said.

“This new program continues Peterbilt’s strategy of partnering with premier body manufacturers to best serve the needs of our customers,” Ewald said. “For our construction customers we now offer two integrated body programs as this new London partnership joins our Peterbilt/Heil Integrated Dump Body Program.”
