GRANDVIEW, Mo. — Peterson Manufacturing has announces the release of the new Great White LED Back-Up Lights for working trucks and trailers. Featuring the latest white diode technology, the 4″ round back-up light completes Peterson’s series of premium LED products, according to company officials.

“The Great White adds pure white brilliance to our line of Piranha brand red and amber LED safety lights,” said Peterson marketing director, Mark Assenmacher. “When it comes to back-up lights, there’s nothing whiter, brighter or tougher on the market.”

Company officials say the new Great White LED Back-Up Light, labeled the 417C/418C Series, boasts a solid list of features which include:

-100,000-hour rated life.

-Ultra-bright white diodes and custom-cut optics produce a brilliant rectangular light pattern that exceeds DOT specifications by 25 per cent.

-Hard-wired terminals potted in polyurethane shield the lamp from moisture and corrosion.

-Linear welds provide a more robust, hermetic seal.

-Skirted weld-joints mean greater protection against tough roads, weather and chemicals.

-Shallower-depth light dimension allows greater flexibility to fit lamp in tight spaces.

-A molded 2-wire female PL-3 plug assures easy installation or quick retrofits.

“From plain mounts to grommet- or flange-mounts, there’s a model to fit virtually any truck or trailer need,” Assenmacher said. “With a pair of our Great Whites on your tail, you’ve got unbeatable LED safety and good looks backing you all the way.”
