Retrofitting on video

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A classroom in your television was what the U.S. Environmental Protection agency was thinking when it produced a video on retrofitting of diesel engines to reduce emissions.

“The Quest for Clean Air” targets a wide array of people including owners and operators of trucking, transit and school bus fleets, state and local government vehicle coordinators.

The video features interviews with spokesmen from Applegate Trucking, the New York City Transit Authority, BP, the California Air Resource Board and the Sacramento Quality Air District, all focusing on diesel retrofit programs.
