RIDE-ON SWEEPER
Kärcher has introduced the new KM 90/60 R Bp ride-on sweeper, the latest model in a line that now includes five walk-behind and three ride-on types.
This battery-operated compact sweeper has a 36-in. cleaning path with the side broom engaged. It’s said to be extremely quiet and to have great site lines. The unit’s dust-control capabilities come by way of a 4-sq-meter polyester self-cleaning filter. It’s designed for hard floor sweeping but can also be equipped with an anti-static carpet broom for the surface cleaning of commercial carpet. The KM 90/60 R Bp can clean from 40,000 to 54,000 sq ft per hour. Both wet-cell and AGM batteries are available.
Other features include: automatic filter cleaning; manual filter-cleaning switch; corrosion-free frame; side-brush bumper protection; storage platform behind driver seat; one-pedal drive/operation; automatic braking system; and a foot-operated bulk-waste flap.
It also has debris hoppers on both sides of the machine, with a capacity of 30 litres each. The main brush and filter can be changed without tools.
Typical applications include warehouses, light manufacturing facilities, office complexes, etc.
