Rislone unveils updated Hy-per Lube high mileage treatment engine supplement
Rislone has launched its newly concentrated Hy-per Lube high mileage treatment engine supplement. It is designed to improve oil performance, eliminate dry starts, reduce friction, and extend engine life, according to a release. The supplement, previously available in a 946 ml bottle, is now offered in a 500 ml bottle.
Rislone says it is formulated to work with all types of motor oils – commercial, conventional, high-mileage, and synthetic – adding that the treatment is designed to enhance the performance of older, high-mileage, and high-performance engines. It is also versatile enough for use in manual transmissions, differentials, and axles, according to the release.
The supplement increases oil’s film strength by leaving a protective coating on internal parts, including cylinders and gears, preventing wear during start-up. It helps lower engine temperature by reducing foaming, which allows oil to dissipate heat better and protect the engine from premature wear.
The formula also prevents thermal breakdown, protects oil viscosity, and extends oil life by up to 50%, the company claims. By reducing friction, the supplement increases lubrication, which boosts engine power and improves fuel economy, while also helping to extend the life of both new and old engines without voiding manufacturer warranties.
In older engines, it also helps reduce noise by enhancing oil pressure and cushioning mechanical shocks, which minimizes lifter and valve ticking as well as other engine noises, Rislone says.
