CALGARY, Alta. — RLM Holdings, Ltd. is ready to lift and roll with their Total Delivery Solution system.
The company has designed a 1 tonne, 4-wheel drive truck with a sleeper and hydraulic crane combination.
The truck comes complete with an attached sleeper unit, side tool compartments, concealed storage/hidden toolbox under sleeper unit, third fuel tank, additional hydraulic hookups, picker crane and flat bed with a hidden mini fifth wheel when needing to pull a trailer.
The Total Delivery Solution or TDS is designed for any hotshot delivery services, oilfield related services, lumber industries, road building, roof decking and many other freight carrier jobs in the industrial/commercial industries.
RLM said the features of the unit include more maneuverability and fuel efficiency than larger trucks, the ability for drivers to self-load cargo and ability to run one’s operation 24/7.
“The reason we were and are able to achieve this is primarily due to the sleeper,” RLM officials said. “In correlation with the United States Law, if the GVW is over 10,000 lbs., the driver requires a logbook. If there is only one driver, then he is limited to a maximum of 12 hours per day. With RLM’s tested and proven, self-contained sleeper, you can have two drivers. This allows the truck to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
