Roadwarrior launches line of EGR coolers
Roadwarrior, producer of direct-fit aftertreatment components, has launched a line of EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) coolers tailored for Cummins, Volvo, Mack, and Detroit Diesel HD engines.
The cooler dilutes the air-fuel mixture in the cylinder with cooled exhaust gas, lowering the combustion temperature. This stops the engine from overheating and the lower temperatures improve the performance of hot components like the cylinder head, the company says.
“Our new line of EGR coolers further cements our position at the forefront of the aftermarket space,” said Roadwarrior’s Jay Daran. The EGR coolers are available for order.
