Sage Oil Vac upgrades Class 7 fuel/lube truck

by Today's Trucking

Sage Oil Vac announced it has improved its Class 7 fuel/lube truck.

“The first Sage Oil Vac system was designed to stop spills during oil changes. Our legacy is built on the idea of improving operator experience,” said Sage Oil Vac CEO Aaron Sage in a news release. “That kind of innovation drives our engineering team. You can see it in every Sage Oil Vac system — and it’s especially clear in our newest products.”

Sage Oil Vac Class 7 fuel/lube bodies offer 1,000 gallons (3,785 liters) of capacity in one tank, 300 gallons (1,135 liters) of fresh oil capacity across three product tanks, and 12 gallons (454 liters) of used oil capacity in one tank.

The company says this makes them popular for crews that fuel and service large equipment.

Among the recent improvements are: new sealing systems for switch and storage boxes to hold up against power washing and weather; a new multi-stage vacuum generator up to 100% faster than the previous model; a tank fill indicator at the bulk fill station; wider backup camera views; a relocated higher-capacity mechanics drawer and dedicated drain pan storage area; as well as an extended bumper.

Optional features include safety cone storage, vise mounting on the truck bumper and backup sensors. All are built with the company’s pump-free technology for transferring maintenance fluids to and from equipment.
