OKEMOS, Mich. — SAKOR Technologies, Inc., a leader in the implementation of instrumentation products for powertrain system testing, has introduced version 4.3 of its DynoLAB PT Test Cell Control System.

Version 4.3 adds Ethernet and Wireless Ethernet to the existing DynoLAB PT system. Officials say the addition of Ethernet support has increased the bandwidth available for data acquisition, further reduced the number of connections required and enabled an even higher level of remote monitoring capability. The addition of Wireless Ethernet is designed to further reduce the impact to existing facilities during installation by providing the potential to eliminate all physical connections between test cell devices and the control room.

Company officials say the DynoLAB PT 4.3 is ideal for engine and powertrain testing. It is designed to provide cost-effective, reliable testing of engine and drivetrain components in performance, durability and quality control applications. The DynoLAB PT is also designed to seamlessly integrate external devices, including all types of dynamometers, throttle actuators, spark and fuel controllers, combustion analysis systems, emission analyzers, driver’s aid consoles and other smart I/O devices. Officials say the DynoLAB PT is available with flexible I/O hardware configurations and its modular design makes it easy to expand and maintain.
