During its user conference in San Diego, Calif., Samsara has launched a new level monitoring product designed to help fleets and industrial operations gain near real-time visibility into tank levels, aiming to reduce product loss, improve utilization, and enhance inventory management.

Without tank visibility, organizations often face operational blind spots — such as unknown tank locations, inaccurate fill levels, or undetected maintenance needs — that can lead to underutilization, product theft, tampering, and poor inventory control.

Level monitoring provides near real-time visibility into gas, solid, and liquid levels across a wide range of tank types, including mini bulks, pressurized tanks, fuel tanks, tender trailers, and more. The system is C1D1-certified for use in hazardous environments, offers a rugged and easy-to-install design, and comes with a seven-year battery life, according to a related news release.

The monitor is powered by the Samsara Network and is aimed at industries such as agriculture, chemicals, and oil and gas. According to the company, the new system allows businesses to better track fuel or material levels, optimize deliveries, and improve customer service.

The product will be available in the U.S. later this year, with Canadian availability to follow.
