REGINA, Sask. — Mack Trucks has named Redhead Equipment the 2008 Mack Canada Distributor of the Year, for the second year in a row.

The dealership, owned by Gary Redhead, has been a Mack dealer since 1990. It operates five locations in Saskatchewan: Regina; Saskatoon; Swift Current; Lloydminster; and Estevan.

Mack states that each year the company acknowledges the efforts and contributions of its dealer network, by honouring high-performing distributors in its North American and international business units.

Selection criteria include sales, facilities, personnel, service, parts, general management, customer satisfaction and community service.

“Mack’s network of distributors is today as strong as it has ever been, and because of this, our distributors are a source of strength for our customers in these difficult economic times,” said Kevin Flaherty, Mack senior vice-president, US and Canada. “The businesses Mack honours with these awards are the best of the breed when it comes to making the customer the foundation of our business.”
