Schneider Electric upgrades Charge Pro Level 2 commercial EV charger
Schneider Electric has upgraded its Schneider Charge Pro Level 2 commercial EV charger with new features designed to help property owners, fleet operators, and site hosts deploy and manage charging infrastructure across the U.S.
The system combines charging hardware with EV Connect Software, a cloud-based platform that enables users to monitor performance, manage access, track usage, and support drivers across multiple locations, according to a news release. One year of the software, along with proactive monitoring, driver support, and a five-year hardware warranty, is included.
New features include a simplified installation process, QR code charging that does not require an app, cybersecurity protections, and support for both J1772 and North American Charging Standard (NACS) connectors with configurations up to 80 amps. Charge Pro also integrates with Schneider Electric’s electrical infrastructure products, including panelboards, switchgear, and circuit protection systems used in commercial EV charging installations.
