Search is on for Ontario’s Driver of the Year and Dispatcher of the Year

TORONTO, Ont. — The OTA is on the hunt for two individuals who deserve special recognition for the outstanding work they do.

Employers are being asked to consider whether any of their employees might qualify for either of the following awards:

2003 Ontario Driver of the Year
Do you employ/contract a topnotch professional transport driver who is worthy of special recognition because he/she has a collision-free driving record and is an exemplary professional truck driver both on and off the road?
The Ontario Trucking Association has begun its search for the 2003 OTA/Volvo Trucks Canada Driver of the Year. Deadline for entries is October 1, 2003. Volvo Trucks Canada sponsors this award

2003 Ontario Dispatcher of the Year
OTA and Cancom Tracking have begun their search for the 2003 OTA/Cancom Tracking Dispatcher of the Year. The award recognizes excellence in dispatch and is presented annually at the Ontario Trucking Association convention held each November in Toronto. Deadline for entries is October 1, 2003. Cancom Tracking sponsors this award.
