PORTLAND, Ore. — Freightliner and Sterling trucks can now be spec’d with Sears Atlas seats, Sears Seating has announced.

The seats will be a published option on the Freightliner Columbia CL120 and CL112 and Century Class S/T CST120. Sterling models A9500, AT9500, L7500, LT7500, L8500, LT8500, L9500 and LT9500 will also now include Sears Atlas seats as an option.

Sears says its Atlas seats offer increased comfort and three-axis stability as well as improved durability. The line of seats was developed after two years of research and development, user surveys and interviews.

There are four different series including: the Elite 80 Series; the 70 Premium Comfort Series; the 70 Series; and the 35 Series.

“We are proud to be able to partner with Freightliner and Sterling in bringing these lines of seats to truck drivers everywhere,” said Steve Sears, president of the truck division of Sears Seating. “Freightliner is one of the leading truck manufacturers in the country, and this line of top quality seats will only make them better.”
