SOCKET SET

Low on clearance? Snap-on says its new 10-piece 3/8-in.-drive metric low-profile ratchet/socket set with Dual 80 technology works especially well in tight spots. It’s said to be up to 33% shorter than other sets, with what’s claimed to be the smallest ratcheting arc.

The set includes the 80-tooth low-profile ratchet (RAF80) and nine 12-point low-profile sockets (8mm to 18mm). Both can be used with standard 3/8-in. square-drive ratchets and standard 3/8-in. sockets.

Other features include: special alloy steel, precision forged and heat treated for strength and durability; nickel/chrome plating to protect against corrosion; and a thin handle cross-section to allow for greater accessibility in tight quarters.
