Spotter AI has launched a new fuel optimization feature designed to help trucking fleets reduce fuel costs directly within dispatch and route planning workflows.

The new tool, called FuelSeek, has been integrated into the company’s Spotter TMS platform and recommends fueling stops based on real-time diesel pricing and route efficiency.

Once a load is booked, drivers receive route guidance and suggested fueling locations intended to align dispatch planning with execution on the road.

“FuelSeek is about helping fleets make better fueling decisions at the moment it matters most — during planning and dispatch,” said Peidi Wu, co-founder of Spotter AI. “By embedding fuel optimization directly into our TMS and connecting that plan to the driver experience, we are giving teams a simple way to reduce fuel spend and improve margins without changing how they work.”

The company says the feature is designed to eliminate the need for separate fuel planning tools by integrating optimization directly into existing dispatch operations.

Fuel costs remain one of trucking’s largest and most volatile operating expenses, particularly following recent spikes in diesel prices across North America.

Spotter AI said FuelSeek is currently available to Spotter TMS users, with broader rollout plans under development.
